The Kayla Itsines Bikini Body Guide workout was born because the Australian native has loved fitness since a very early age. As a child, her father would ask her to do 40 sit ups or 10 push ups before she could go play at a friend’s house or visit the beach.
She wasn’t allowed to have any console games like an Xbox, her dad preferred it when she was playing outside. Her love for fitness was a very natural thing. Her family members were active people who enjoyed being outside.
So it was understandable that she would follow the path of becoming a personal trainer. And that at the age of only 18. Having such a healthy upbringing really paved the way for Kayla and her future.
BBG Workout Began on Instagram
Kayla Itsines started out as a fitness trainer in a personal training center at the neighborhood where she lives. She was giving classes to women of all ages but soon realized the ladies weren’t seeing the results they wanted. So she decided to do her own research and brought to life her own BBG workouts.
Her Instagram fame happened completely by accident. When she started using the social platform, she didn’t realize how big it was going to get. Word got around and we all know the power of social media in this day and age.
Soon women from all over the world were asking her if she could be their personal trainer and how she did it. All this wad because of the before and after photos women were posting after doing her 12-week program.
Birth Of The BBG
When Kayla Itsines realized that women from all over the world wanted in on her workout she decided to put it out for the world to see. So she compiled an ebook, thinking one or two women might order it.
But as she put the BBG workout ebook on her website, so many women were ordering it that the website crashed. She soon realized that she was going to need help. So she asked her boyfriend Tobi Pearce, also a personal trainer to help her out. He was a lot more tech savvy than she was.
Her boyfriend then started up Pearce and Co to help out with Kayla Itsines social media kingdom. A lot of things went wrong but eventually thanks to a good team everything fell into place.
After the success of the BBG, Kayla eventually released the BBG 2.0. Accompanied by her Help Nutrition Guide. There’s even a vegetarian Diet Guide out for those who don’t eat animal products.
Kayla Itsines has made sure women will have enough workouts to fall back on, ensuring they won’t get bored. And by following her instructions us ladies can all have the perfect bikini body thanks to the BBG workout.
