4 Diet Myths That Are Messing Up Your Bikini Body Goals

The world of diets is filled with so much misinformation, false facts and promises that deliver absolutely nothing that it would make your head spin. We could come up with literally thousands of information out there regarding bikini body diets that just aren’t true and won’t give you the results they promise.

We can tell you about thousands of food myths that are instead contributing to messing up your bikini body goals rather than the improvement of your health and body composition. But we had to consider this seriously and pick four of them for starters.

By now, you should know that a lot of the information you see and read about diets, how you should exercise and what you should eat (or should avoid as part of your diet) is complete and total nonsense, filled with statistics that are usually made up on the spot just to convince you to try it.  Like we’ve said, we had to go through many just to pick out four.

Here are four diet myths that you need to know.

#1: All it takes is a healthy diet to lose weight.

Many people have managed to convince themselves that all they need is a healthy diet in order to lose weight and get a bikini body. But nothing could be further from the truth. In reality, a healthy diet isn’t nearly enough to ensure that you have a fit bikini body – you have to combine a healthy diet with an equally healthy exercise routine such as Kayla Itsines PDF bikini body workouts, or your diet on its own will mean nothing.

#2: All fat is bad for you.

It’s generally repeated that all fats are bad for you. Most health-conscious people go into the idea of a diet with the thought that they have to avoid all kinds of fats from now on – and that their diet can’t contain a single ounce of anything that contains even a trace amount of fat. This is a complete diet mistake, we’ll have you know!

There are good fats and bad fats. Certain fats are perfectly fine in a healthy diet, even when you’re trying to lose weight.

Okay, so there have been literally thousands of different diet programs for cash that promise they will teach you the one secret to losing weight. But that’s the problem with that kind of information: There is no one secret. No single diet can provide you with a single secret to weight loss: That’s impossible, and weight loss is individual.

#4: You can sweat all your weight off if you…

Remember the infomercials with the belts that would make you sweat off all your weight? Yeah, it turns out those things do nothing, and they can be worse for your health than you thought. People have long believed that you can just sweat off your fat – for example, by visiting a sweat lodge and not having to exercise. But this is wrong. And dangerous to your heart!

The way to sweat and lose weight is by running or jogging! Not by using those products that sell you empty promises! While you’re running, do make sure you run injury-free!
